Message But I think there are enough people out there who appreciate a slicktop to deter me from not buying one myself for fear it will be worth little resale value down the road. I wish they brought the slicktop twin turbos to the US. I like to drive my car and take advantage of its abilities, and the t-top feature lost its value by the time I got out of high school, when I really began to see the value of lightness. Certain features must be foregone to get the maximum potential, i.e. no t-tops, targa, sunroof, etc.

Although I don't have quantifiable evidence, as you stated, basic understanding of the designs of automobiles should provide enough evidence that a lighter, stiffer car will generally outhandle a heavier, more flexible one. And since you can't un-t-top a car realistically, the slicktop always seems like the way to go when really trying to squeeze the most out of a sports car.

Cheers,
JBrobst
